  • Mike Says: The Mustangs are a good team year in and year out. This year they will be very young with a lot of juniors playing critical roles. I am looking forward to their pre-district game against Manvel. Look for them to go 8-2 or 7-3 in the regular season and fight La Porte for the district title. They will be a Division I playoff team. Their main competition in the region will come from Pearland.
  • Chris Says: Galena Park North Shore is one of those teams that you dread on your schedule and for that reason, everyone plays against them like it is a championship game.  The Mustangs have never been afraid to schedule tough and for that reason should be playoff ready once the regular season ends.  It mystifies me how they have only managed one state championship in the past 17 years.  Once again, look for the North Shore to light up the regular season with 8 or 9 wins, put on some of the best contests from a fans perspective and have a strong playoff run.  Once again, look for them to showcase some great talent on both sides of the ball, and fall short of a state title - but not by much.
