2013 Coaching Change: Garland Rowlett Eagles
Old Head Coach: Kiff Hardin -- Retiring from coaching to pursue other endeavors after leading the Eagles for the past 12 years to a 68-65 record. He has also been a head coach at Gatesville 1997-2000 (43-8) and Pearsall 1988-1996 (51-44-1). He has an all-time coaching record of 162-117-1 which ranks him in the Top 200 in all-time coaching wins. His 2000 Gatesville team won the Class 3A Division I state championship.
New Head Coach: Doug Stephens -- Was the offensive coordinator at Garland Sachse for the past 2 seasons. He has also been an assistant or offensive coordinator at Southlake Carroll, Katy Taylor and Garland Lakeview Centennial. He becomes the third head football coach in Rowlett school history which began varsity play in 1996.
Team News: The Eagles have had only 4 winning seasons in its 17 year history.
