2013 Coaching Change: Maud Cardinals

Old Head Coach: Matt Langley -- Leaving to get involved in another business. He led the Cardinals for 1 season going 5-6. He has also worked as an assistant at Corsicana and Georgetown Eastview.

New Head Coach: Nelson Kortis -- Was the offensive coordinator at 3A Navasota . This is the first head coaching job for Korti. He has also been an offensive coordinator at Montgomery and Riesel.

Team News: The Cardinals have gone 21-21 over the past 4 seasons.
