2013 Coaching Change: Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions

Old Head Coach: Wally Moon -- Has taken a job as an Assistant Coach with Texas A&M-Kingsville. He led the Lions for the past 4 seasons to a 6-34 record. He has been with the program since it first started up six years ago with his first two seasons as an assistant.

New Head Coach: Stuart Burleson -- Was an assistant for the Lions. He has also been an assistant at Rockport, Freer and Corpus Christi Carroll.

Team News: The Lions have gone 6-43 during their 5 seasons of varsity play.
