Mike Says:The Bobcats will rely heavily on RB Hughes this year. They will need others to step up to make the playoffs. Their district is very tough with Bushland, Littlefield and Muleshoe in it. Look for them to go 5-5 again this year. They will make the playoffs as the 4th team.

Chris Says: Childress has been having a tough go of it recently and a .500 record in this district makes it hard to reach the postseason. While Da'Shoud Hughes is a serious weapon, the Bobcats need Bryce Bowman to step up as a Sophomore QB to make some plays if they are going to make a playoff run. Their schedule is setup so that the toughest part of district comes at the very end of the season. That means, if the team can learn from early season mistakes, they will be ready for that final push into the postseason.
