Mike Says: These two teams combined for a 5-2 record last year in the games of the week including their week 0 match-up last year. Aledo won that game big. This years game may be a little closer but will end with the same result. The BEARCATS win it 24-20!!
- Chris Says: Another great Week Zero matchup that will be a must-have ticket. I have these two ranked so closely that the difference in this one will likely be one bounce of the ball. The Dallas Highland Park Scots have a team capable of winning this game, but I have to go with my rankings that shows Aledo just a fraction better. BEARCATS take the victory 28-24!!
- LSG Intern Zach Says: Hate to agree with Chris and Mike this often, but I have to go Aledo. This is a matter of proven talent going up against a few question marks. The Scots graduated a lot of talent (all but one offensive player) from a team that couldn’t keep up with the Bearcats last season. That said, Highland Park is never a pushover and will keep it close with a sound defense. Bearcats 20-10.
