The Katy Tigers took on the Galena Park North Shore Mustangs in a matchup of last year's two Class 6A State Champions - this time for the right to advance in the Class 6A Division I playoffs.  This rivalry goes back for decades between two of the premier Houston area high school football powers and this time it was the Mustangs putting up a goal line stand to preserve the 20-17 victory.
