Balmorhea (14-0) vs. Richland Springs (13-0)
4 p.m. Dec. 14, Arlington's AT&T Stadium

AT&T Stadium - Balmorhea didn't seem to care that everyone in the state picked their road to end with their matchup against Richland Springs.  The took the opening 3 drives in for scores.  But Richland Springs did the same then and then some.  The Coyotes kept the game close until running off a 24-0 3rd quarter.  In the end, the game was stopped via the Mercy Rule and Richland Springs earning their 8th state championship 96-50.  The Offensive Player of the Game was Walker Tippie who ran for 9 TDs and passed for 2 more.  The Defensive Player of the Game was Jordan Burkhart.
