2011 Coaching Change -- Fredericksburg Battlin Billies
Old Head Coach: Dean Herbort -- Leaving after leading the Battlin Billies to a 58-49 overall record for the last 10 seasons. He has an overall coaching record of 90-87-1. Was a 1975 graduate of Fredericksburg High School. Herbort is #2 in coaching wins at Fredericksburg
New Head Coach: Lance Moffett -- Was the defensive line coach at Round Rock Stony Point for the past two seasons. He helped Stony Point reach the Class 5A Division I state semifinals each of those years.
Team News: The Billies are coming off of a tough 1-9 season. 2010's 9 losses tied for most in school history (1949). They now have 3 consecutive losing seasons after having a 13 year non-losing streak before that.
