Mike Says: These are two pretty surprising teams. Who would have thought that both of them would have victories over Galena Park North Shore at this time. The Houston area is buzzing over this game but I don't think they are the best in the Houston area. It will be a good one though. Port Arthur Memorial will get revenge for all of those losses to La Porte. The TITANS win 28-21!!!

Chris Says:  This is a tough one to handicap.  Both teams are taking care of business and both teams are eeking out some surprisingly close games.   In the end, it will be the offense of Port Arthur Memorial that will be the difference as the TITANS win 34-21!!!

Who do you think will win?

I like that you both under estimate LaPorte……. Ground and pound ball control offense keeps potent PAM offense off the field. LP at home with nothing to lose and a district championship to gain! Close thru 3 quarters, LP wins it in the 4th……. 27-24

This will be the best offense that LP will face all year in PAM & vice versa this will the most physical & athletic defense that PAM has faced all year (yes that includes NS). The key for LP is to build off what the found late in the NS game & that was a lot of misdirection plays to get their atjletes in space. Nobody has run on LP this year & PAM spread will test LP on the ground & the air. LP has had some issues in pass defense & sometimes that’s opened up an occassional good run. The key for LP is to play physical just like they did last year @PAM. Keep the PAM offense in predictable down & distance. It’ll be interesting to see if LP truly found themselves offensively like it seemed it 2nd half of NS. If going to the game, of course watch for D1 committments in QB-Singleton, RB-Holmes, & OT- Armstead. With LP its their SR leaders OLB-Whilley & MLB-Sutherland. Also, LP is full of phenomenol Sophs (Holmes, Lewis, Wearen, Nelson). LP will try to establish the hard runny JR Keith Whitely. Should be great one!

The Bulldogs win 24-20 in what turned out to be a game that lived up to its hype. La Porte is looking for their first district title in 18 years.

What are your thoughts?
