Refugio showed once again why they are one of the best Class 2A teams in the state with this convincing win over Poth.  They now advance to the Quarterfinals to face Sonora.

For the record Refugio wide receiver Lynx Hawthorne caught 6 passes for 132 yards.  Kicker Adolfo Cordero was also able to connect on 3 extra points.  For the season, Hawthorne now has 55 receptions for 1,413 yards and 21 touchdowns.  Cordero now has 76 extra points on the season.
