    Record question;

    2A Franklin led 3A power-turned-doormat Caldwell 65-27 at the half en route to a humiliating 80-34 cakewalk, which was Caldwell’s 12th straight no-show.

    What is the most points scored by a Texas team before halftime … or is that a new one?

    Also, Franklin had scored all 80 in the first three quarters. Is that a record or the fact that they had to get masking tape to create jersey numbers so the 8th grade kiddos could extend their recess by playing, too?

      Thanks for the question: First of all — what has happened to Caldwell? Franklin/Caldwell made the record section this week for points in a game. I have not seen any records on points for halftime or at the end of 3….that would be an interesting one though.
