Kingsville King has hird Marcus Booker to replace Andy Hrncir as the new athletic director and head coach. Hrncir was with the Brahmas for three seasons leading them to a 12-18 record.
Booker had been a coordinator this past season at Corpus Christi Carroll. From 2002-2008 he was the head coach at Cotulla leading them to an overall 42-34 recod and a trip to the semifinals in 2006. Coach Booker left the Cowboys as their winningest coach in school history.
King will be a member of District 31-4A for the next two seasons along with Alice, Corpus Christi Calallen, Corpus Christi Flour Bluff, Corpus Christi Tuloso-Midway, Corpus Christi Miller, Corpus Christi Moody and Corpus Christi Ray. They are currently on a 5 year losing streak.
