The Bobcats from Refugio won big in this Class 2A Area round playoff game against Three Rivers.  Refugio will advance on to take on Poth in the Regional round next week. For the record, wide receiver Lynx Hawthorne caught 3 passes for 80 yards and 1 touchdown.  Kicker Adolfo Cordero added 8 extra points to his totals.  For the record, Hawthorne now has 49 receptions for 1,281 yards and 21 touchdowns receiving this year.  Cordero now is up to 73 extra points on the season.  He will need to get 2 more to tie for #27 on the all-time list.
