Mike Says: Tyler quarterback Greg Ward is one of the most accurate passers in the state completing 68.8% of his passes. He has also almost rushed for 1000 yards. Texarkana had a big win over Sulphur Springs to end the season. Coach Barry Norton always has them ready to play. Tyler plays a Who's Who in Pre-District games which prepares them for games like this. They went 0-3 in those first pre-district games but have gone 7-0 since then. The LIONS win 32-26!!!
