2012 Coaching Change: Hillsboro Eagles

Old Head Coach: Keith Hendrix -- Leaving to be the defensive coordinator at 4A Marble Falls. He led the Eagles to a 4-25 record over the last 3 seasons. He has also been a head coach at 1A Gorman where he led the Panthers to a 7-5 record in 2008.

New Head Coach: Mike Palmer -- Former Eagle offensive coordinator who is coming out of a 1 year retirment.

Team News: The Eagles have had 9 consecutive non-winning seasons. They will be moving to District 7-3A from 8-3A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Alvarado, Glen Rose, Stephenville and Venus.
