Enrollment: 154 -- Smallest in the district out of 6 schools

Coach: Jerry Richards (2 years) 7-14 at Grapeland; 7-14 All-Time Coaching Record

Mike Says: The Sandies will look for a big season out of Patrick Walker. They made the playoffs last year with a 4-6 record and return 15 starters from that team. Look for them to go 4-6 or 5-5 in the regular season and compete for that 3rd playoff spot.

Chris Says: Grapeland doesn't bring back a lot of bodies, but most of them have starter level experience. Don't look for the Sandies to light up the regular season this year anymore than they did in 2011, but they should make it into the playoffs. That returning playoff experience may be enough to take them past bi-district, but not a lot further.
