2011 Coaching Change: Corpus Christi West Oso Bears
Old Head Coach: Joe Salinas -- Leaving for an assistant coaching position at Skidmore-Tynan. He led the Bears to a 2-8 record during his only season with West Oso.
New Head Coach: Eric Luster -- Was the Defensive Coordinator at 3A Sweeny. He has also coached at Garland, Wichita Falls Rider and North Garland. This will be his first head coaching job.
Team News: The Bears have had 3 consecutive non-winning seasons. They have not won a district title since 1999.
