2011 Coaching Change: Laredo Martin Tigers
Old Head Coach: Don Davis -- Leaving after coaching the Tigers to a 29-51-0 record over the last 8 seasons. His teams only made the playoffs once (2006). He has an all-time coaching record of 65-83-0.
New Head Coach: David Charles -- Was the offensive coordinator at Del Rio. His one other head coaching job was at Eagle Pass Winn from 2006-2008 where he led the Mavericks to a 4-26 overall record including 2-21 in district play. He has also been an assistant at Eagle Pass.
Team News: The Tigers are on a 4 year losing streak. They have had only 1 winning season (7-4 in 2006) in the last 15 years.
