2011 Coaching Change: South Garland Colonels
Old Head Coach: Keith Wright -- Retiring after leading the Colonels for the last three seasons to a 21-15-0 record. His teams went to playoffs each of his three years here. Before coming to coach the Colonels he led 2A Farmersville to a state championship going 28-10 during his three seasons there. Coach Wright ranks #196 on the all-time coaching wins list with a record of 157-75-0.
New Head Coach: Mark Cox -- Has been the offensive coordinator at Garland Sachse the last seven seasons. He once was the offensive coordinator for the lengendary Gordon Wood at Brownwood.
Team News: The Colonels are on a 2 year winning streak.
