El Paso Coronado Finds Replacement For Retiring Don Brooks

2012 Coaching Change: El Paso Coronado Thunderbirds
Old Head Coach: Don Brooks -- Retiring after leading the Thunderbirds to an overall 228-148-3 record over the past 35 seasons. He has an all-time coaching record of 241-164-5 which is one of the all-time best.
New Head Coach: Robert Anderson -- Was the Thunderbirds defensive coordinator for the past five years.
Team News: The Thunderbirds have gone 12-11 over the last 2 seasons. They will remain in District 1-5A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be El Paso Americas, El Paso Bel Air, El Paso Eastwood, El Paso El Dorado, El Paso Franklin, El Paso Montwood and El Paso Socorro.
